W1K covers the northern and western half: Grosvenor Square, Brook Street, Mount Street and most of Park Lane. W1J covers the southern half: Berkeley Square, Curzon Street, Shepherd Market and the north side of Piccadilly down to Hamilton Place. Bond Street, just east, carries W1S. Mayfair, the full district page, starts here, with Claridge's on Brook Street and The Connaught on Carlos Place. Grosvenor Square is the residential heart of W1K, apartments and porters' desks around a garden. Park Lane carries Grosvenor House, The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane and the London Hilton, all W1K addresses with the park across the road.

Berkeley Square is the late dining end of the postcode. Green Park and Piccadilly take in The Ritz, The Athenaeum and the hotels along the mile, with the Four Seasons and the InterContinental at Hamilton Place. Across Piccadilly, St James's is SW1, a different postcode under the same terms.

Terms that hold in both

Every address in W1K and W1J lies in Zone 1, so the journey is never charged. As a rule, a same evening companion reaches the door 30 to 45 minutes from the moment of written confirmation. One hour starts at £250, four hours at dinner cost £900, ten hours overnight £1,800; the full ladder is on the rates page. Standard bookings are held by a 25 percent deposit, sent by bank transfer. Before she leaves, WhatsApp carries the last check: your full name and room number, or the address of the residence.

A hotel's postcode is printed on its website and on the key card wallet; a residence's is on the post. When in doubt, send the street and the building, Curzon Street, Hill Street, Upper Brook Street, and the house will place it. Nothing about the booking changes either way, and every address in either postcode is within easy reach of a companion based inside it.
